It’s hard to avoid stress. Work, money, family issues, current events, and the hassles of everyday life are just a few of the things that can cause stress. Long-term, or chronic stress is linked to several health conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, burnout, and anxiety.
Most stress experts have developed tools and clinical assessments to assess stress. But chronic stress remains a mystery, and there are no (or few) tools to measure it.
This is exactly the objective of this tool. It’s important to learn how to manage stress so it doesn’t overwhelm you. The first step is to recognize your body’s signs and symptoms. These could include many that are revealed in this application. Then, there are individual differences like personality that make some people more vulnerable to suffering from stress than others. And finally, there are environmental and modulators that can amplify or filter the negative effects of stress.
The stress2resilience program is divided into three modules. Each module is independent, although you can not access and get a diagnosis for modules 2 and 3 if you did not complete module 1. Furthermore, you can not get access to module 3 if you have not completed modules 1 and 2. The application is based on over 50 years of research by Prof. Dolan and his team, and you can always learn more about the concept by reading some of his recent books on the subject.
